7. Just say no

Being a team player is is encouraged at the work place but at times a good sport can be overwhelming. in order to effectively manage your time there are times when you have to say ‘no’. choose tasks that are most significant and will have the biggest impact on you and your work and say yes to those that are more weightier. remember to be polite.

8. Don’t be afraid to delegate

In case there is a lot to do and deadlines to meet you can politely reach out to members of your team and simply ask for help. but if the project is a sensitive issue that require you to be over their shoulder all the time its advisable not to delegate such.

9. Reflect

At the end of the day take time to reflect on what was accomplished. what worked and what did not work did you reach your goal? this is important because it will help you plan for the future .
