Our client who is a leading and dynamic Sacco in HOMABAY, seeks to invite qualified persons to apply for the position of accounts clerk.
ACCOUNTS CLERK
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records:
• Update the society’s cashbooks daily.
• Analyze receipts and payments for posting to the general ledger weekly.
• Prepare weekly bank reconciliations.
• Update the Fixed Assets register monthly basis.
2. Updating members statements to ensure timely reporting
3. Processing of payments:
4. Any other duty as may be required by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- CPA Part II
- Hands on experience with Financial Accounting software. Skills
- Sound ICT skills, Good communication and interpersonal skills, Analytical skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet strict deadlines.
